Storage & handling

Keep it cold, keep it working

Tirzepatide is a biologic peptide. Once temperature integrity is lost, potency cannot be visually verified. Storage matters as much as the medication itself.

Storage protocol

2–8°C until the moment you inject

The syringe should stay refrigerated from dispatch through delivery and home storage, inside its original packaging, away from direct light and not resting against the fridge’s back wall where temperatures can dip below freezing.

At home

Refrigerate at 2–8°C. Do not freeze. If the syringe has been frozen, discard it — freezing damages the peptide even after thawing.

Out of the fridge

Once removed, the syringe can be stored below 30°C for up to 21 days. Do not return it to the fridge after this.

During delivery

Every shipment ships in insulated packaging with gel packs. Each delivery arrives within its validated cold-chain window for Abuja.

Before injection

Allow the syringe to reach room temperature for about 15 minutes before use. Injecting cold medication increases injection-site discomfort.
